FAQs

Thank you for visiting our FAQ! If you have any other questions, please feel free to reach out to Kathryn at (682)-706-9712.
Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

You can click the RSVP tab above and RSVP at any time. You can also scan the QR code on the back of your invite that will take you directly to the RSVP page.

Question

What if I don't RSVP in time?

Answer

If you don't RSVP by May 17, you will be marked as "not attending" so we can finalize our plans. We completely understand that things come up, so we're happy to offer a one week grace period if needed - just be sure to reach out before then. Thank you so much for understanding!

Question

What should I do if I cannot make it?

Answer

You will definitely be missed! If you cannot attend our wedding, please indicate "will not attend" on your RSVP so we can plan accordingly. If you already RSVP'd "attending", but find that you will not make it, please notify Kathryn as soon as you are aware.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited budget, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Your invite will be made out to "(Your Name) & Guest" if a plus one has been given to you. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

Absolutely! We're glad to welcome the whole family to celebrate with us.

Question

What is the dress attire?

Answer

Our dress code is semi-formal. For women, this may include dresses above the knee or longer and dressy pant suits. For men, we suggest dress shirts with slacks, and jackets or ties are welcome but not required. We kindly ask to avoid champagne colored dresses since that is what our wedding party will be wearing. Please no jeans, sneakers, and of course no wearing white :)

Question

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both! Our ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors with an overhead awning, and our reception will take place indoors.

Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

Our ceremony begins at 4pm, so we strongly suggest to arrive by 3:30pm. This will ensure that you have time to park, grab a refreshment, and be seated by 3:45pm so that everything can run smoothly according to schedule. If you arrive after the ceremony has already started, you will not be able to be seated and will have to wait until cocktail hour to enter.

Question

Is there parking available on site?

Answer

Yes - parking will be available to guests upon arrival at our venue.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony, so this means no phones or cameras in use until the ceremony concludes. The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say "I do". We have hired professionals to capture this moment, and we promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos/videos as you'd like!

Question

Will there be a bar?

Answer

Yes - there will be a bar available during the reception with a selection of drinks to choose from. We ask that you be patient and respect our bartender!

Question

What kind of food and beverages will be served?

Answer

We will have bottled water available upon entry of the ceremony to ensure everyone stays cool and hydrated. A charcuterie assortment and non-alcoholic refreshments including flavored water and lemonade will be available during cocktail hour. During our reception, we are offering chicken and beef fajitas with flour and corn tortillas available. There will also be an array of other sides/toppings including fajita veggies, rice, beans, chips, guac, and salsa to name a few. An assortment of alcoholic beverages will also be available during the reception. And yes - of course there will be cake.

Question

What if I have a food allergy/restriction?

Answer

We will include a question regarding food allergies/restrictions on your RSVP. If you forgot to mention this on your RSVP, please notify Kathryn as soon as possible so that we can accommodate for you!
