Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is evening formal. Men are required to wear a coat and tie for evening events in the Ballroom. Women may wear a floor-length gown or a fancy cocktail dress.

How should I RSVP and by what date?

Answer

We are collecting RSVPs digitally. You may use the QR code provided in our wedding invitation. Please RSVP by October 5, 2022. If you prefer, you may RSVP directly on our website.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive 1/2 hour before the start of the ceremony, to ensure everyone is seated prior to the 4:30 start time. The venue will hold guests from seating 10 minutes prior to the start time. There is valet parking available for your convenience.

Will the ceremony or reception be held outside?

Answer

Our ceremony is expected to take place outside on the terrace overlooking Congressional's beautiful golf course. Cocktails are expected in the Sunroom with the Reception in the Ballroom. The outside ceremony is weather dependent and since this is a fall wedding, please bring a shawl or jacket for your comfort. A coat check is available.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

We have complimentary valet parking at the venue. Ubers are also welcome for drop-off and/or pick-up.

May I bring a date?

Answer

Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate plus ones at our wedding.

Are children welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Unfortunately, there is no transportation to or from the ceremony and reception. Ubers are welcome on site.

Of course. Please note your allergy or food restriction on your digital RSVP.

Do you have a hotel room block?

Answer

We have a room block at the Hyatt Regency - Bethesda, Maryland. Please mention the TRAHERN/DESIMONE wedding for our group rate. Visit the travel tab on our website for more details.

What time is the wedding over?

Answer

We expect our reception to end at 10:30.
