House Or Rental
We have rented out guesthouses for those coming out of the country. Accommodation will be provided for the guests who will wish to stay here free of charge. This will be closer to the venue as the venue is out of the city centre and we are trying to keep everyone on one side of town. APPLIES ONLY FROM 13 DEC 2024- 17 DEC 2024 ( Anything outside this timeline will mean you as the guest will be responsible for finding your own accommodation.)
Hotel
This hotel is right across the venue where the wedding will be taking place. For those who wish for some privacy and want to book hotel rooms, you are most welcome to. Prices can be found online, however if you find them confusing, please do contact.
Flight
There is only one airport in Maputo the capital city. If you are flying in from Harare, Zimbabwe, we highly recommend that you use AIRLINK airlines as it is more reliable. However, there is an option as well to use LAM ( It has direct flights from Harare to Maputo) If you are flying in from anywhere else across the world, just a note that EMIRATES does not land in Maputo. Other options would be Qatar Airways & Ethiopian Airlines. Please note to book your flights in advance as prices in December do tend to rise.
Travel Note
Because we will be providing accommodation for a few nights from Friday to Tuesday morning, we suggest that by Friday, everyone is in Maputo. However , if you wish to come earlier and stay longer to explore the city , you are most welcome to but that will be at your own cost in terms of accommodation and transportation within the city. THE TWO MAIN DAYS OF EVENTS WILL BE SATURDAY 14 DEC & SUNDAY 15 DEC
Travel Note
You will be required to meet your transport costs from to and from Maputo. If you need help in finding buses ( from Zimbabwe to Maputo) please contact Mr Albert Mudyiwa +258863558892 & Mrs Veronica Mudyiwa +258843895534 However, transportation from when you arrive in Maputo will be provided for from 13 DEC TO 17 DEC in the morning.
