We met at a campout with friends. We both sat together and didn't speak much. We started working together to host a convention and eventually started speaking every day. Joe took Kathrine out on dates without her knowing they were dates. Eventually, Kathrine admitted her feelings and they finally had their first official date and first kiss on the Atlantic City Boardwalk.

We were planning a trip for our second dating anniversary and Joe said he wanted to go somewhere close so we didn't spend a lot of time in the car. Little did she know that he was planning to have his sister and brother-in-law document the proposal. We were in Rehoboth, Delaware in a beautiful hotel overlooking the ocean. It was the day after our anniversary and Joe wanted to take a walk on the beach before finding a spot for dinner. Joe's sister and brother-in-law had set up roses and candles on the beach and Joe proposed on one knee just before sunset. It was magical.

Since we met we have been busy. Joe got a job as a project manager and then got a different job as project manager Kathrine graduated with her MSW Kathrine moved south to be with Joe in Ventnor City, NJ Kathrine got a job as a therapist in the field of addiction We bought our first home! We adopted a beautiful black lab mix and named her Nala - we love her so much We traveled to Norway, Spain, Puerto Rico, Delaware, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Cape Cod
