With love, Facebook. Kathrina 1st met John during his training days at work for the most known company, Facebook, on November 18,2018. While Kathrina was training John, she couldn’t help but notice a meaningful tattoo that she knew too well. With that simple 3-star and sun tattoo, they both started sharing their stories and other common interests besides being fellow Filipinos. It was short lived as John had decided to move on to a different work place. Little did Kathrina know that John would ask her lead supervisor for her contact to message her, thanking her for everything she has taught him. Something planned….kinda. So the engagement story wasn’t a surprise, it had started out as a promise and ended in forever. Kilig much? John had already given Kathrina a promise ring but very suddenly asked if she wanted a ring that was more than a promise. Sana all. Kathrina of course agreed but when they found the perfect diamond ring at Shane’s jewelry, their blissful moment was abruptly halted by the ring getting cancelled. Grabe! Not wanting to discourage Kathrina, John had convinced her to go with him to find another ring. To her surprise, John has a different plan in mind. He got down on on knee on December 31,2020, on a hillside with a beautiful view. Kathrina was stunned by John’s proposal but of course agreed. Their engagement was greeted by a random guest in his car, clapping for them and their special moment. Sometimes love stories don’t always go as planned. But since it was meant to be, John found a way.
