Maid of Honor
Kathryn is my twin sister and my built-in best friend. She has known me since the womb, and while I may technically be the older twin, she is the one full of wisdom—always guiding me with love and honesty. We’ve been through so much together over the past few years, and every challenge has only drawn us closer. She knows me better than anyone, and I am beyond grateful to have her standing by my side on my wedding day.
Bridesmaid
Allison is my cousin, and we are incredibly alike. She knows me so well and is someone I can always count on. While she may seem shy and quiet at first, once a game comes out, her competitive side shines. Give her Settlers of Catan or a fast-paced card game of Speed, and you’ll see a whole new side of her. I’m so happy to have her by my side on my wedding day.
Bridesmaid
Cecilia is my best friend, and we met in 2019 at work where we instantly connected and became inseparable coworkers. We bonded over shared work dramas and office politics, which quickly turned into a lasting friendship. In 2020, we took our first trip together and have been travel buddies ever since. She was there when Matthew proposed and celebrated that special moment with us, so it means the world to have her at my wedding, cheering me on.
Bridesmaid
Karen is my younger sister, but if you know her, she often acts like the older one. She recently got to walk down the aisle while I watched through FaceTime, and now it’s her turn to watch me in the same way. Though she can’t be here in person, no one can ever replace her—she will always be my bridesmaid by my side, in spirit and in heart.
Best Man
David is my younger brother. We grew up together near Tacoma, WA, and even attended Florida State University together. He knows me better than almost anyone, and I was the best man at his wedding. I’m grateful for his loyalty and the way he loves his family.
Groomsman
John is my brother-in-law who lives in Houston, TX. I was a groomsman at his wedding, and I got to know John even better when I moved to San Jose. We spent a lot of time together boating and wine tasting. I’ve always respected his work ethic and the way he shows up for his family.
Groomsman
Brandon is a close friend who lives in Southern California. He is the husband of one of the bridesmaids, Cecilia, and a devoted father. Kathlyn and I have spent a lot of time with them over the past couple years, traveling together, enjoying time at the beach and by the pool. I admire the way he runs his business and leads his family.
Groomsman
David is a close friend from Venture church in San Jose. We were small group leaders together and roommates for a time during COVID. I had the honor of being a groomsman at his wedding. He’s someone I deeply respect for his family values and character.
