Dear Family and Friends, Due to the unforeseen pandemic and uncertainty that each day brings, Tom and I have made the decision to postpone the wedding for everyone's health and safety. We hope to see you all May 14, 2021. All our love, Kathleen & Tom Forever 02.15.2014 It all started on one snowy night in the middle of February 2014. Kathleen went out in Manayunk (Kildares) to enjoy her birthday with her grade school friend Eileen (bridesmaid). Thomas began his night in West Chester but ended up in Manayunk (Kildares) with his good friend Joe (groomsman). At some point throughout the night Thomas and Kathleen recognized each other from Lansdale Catholic High School. Neither had been in the same friends circle but had recognized each other from passing in the hallways. At the end of the night Thomas, Kathleen along with Joe and Eileen went to an old friends house only to find Joe's car has been towed by the time the group arrived back to the parking lot. Fortunately Eileen was able to drive her car and graciously drove Thomas and Joe back to Norristown before heading home for the night. The next morning Kathleen woke up to a Facebook message from Thomas asking her if she arrived home in one piece and to ask for her number. Four years and one day later February 16, 2018, Thomas proposed to Kathleen at Kildares, the place they met with a sign on the window "Kathleen, Friday nights, pizza, family ... forever?" with all their family and friends surrounding them as he popped the question. What is the meaning behind the sign? 1. Friday nights and pizza: Kathleen grew up to love Friday nights with her family, who ordered pizza and watched movies together at end the of the long week. Kathleen told Thomas (who only had pizza on Fridays during lent) that this was something she could not give up. 2. Family: Both Kathleen and Thomas have always put a major emphasis on putting family first. 3. Forever: Well you get the idea...
