So we actually met at work, and Katie was the one to initiate conversation. I found her so funny and intriguing. She had the cutest smile and laugh, and also stood her ground. Our conversations were so easy and fun. My most favorite moment was one very busy day I walked past her spot at the nurses station to do a portable x-ray. She was drinking some water when I shouted, “hey, drink some for me please!”. A few moments later, she comes by with a little cup of water and hands it to me. I thought it was for the patient, but she got it for me. That was such a beautiful moment to me.
