Shem Creek is a fun area of Mount Pleasant that offers a variety of restaurants with waterfront views! Red's Icehouse and Saltwater Cowboys are two of our favorites for casual seafood and great views of the boats and paddlers on Shem Creek.

Taylor and I loved spending our time paddle boarding and kayaking the calm waters of Shem Creek! We rented paddle boards one time early in our relationship and we loved it so much that we bought our own soon after - truly the best way to enjoy the wildlife and natural beauty of the lowcountry!
