Yes! We will have dinner for our guests. Brisket, chicken breasts, mashed potatoes and gravy, mac and cheese, green beans, a salad, and rolls. Of course, if you have food allergies, or other dietary restriction or need, please let us know so we can accommodate. We will also have a nice snacking board during cocktail hour (the moment between ceremony and dinner while we do the picture thing) and the bar will be open.
There will be a cash bar. Soda, water, coffee, tea, lemonade will all be provided free of charge during the cocktail hour, dinner and reception.
We do encourage you to dress in your 1950s best! Of course, you do not have to if you do not want too either. We want all our friends to have fun, celebrate with us and be comfortable. However, it is a wedding so keep it classy folks! Think dressy casual, backyard, or garden/tea party in your attire. For a 50s theme, we encourage all the big circle skirts/dresses and polka dots, gingham, florals were very popular. Fitted styles were also very chic at the time. Hats, pearls, dinner jackets/blazers, khakis and loafers were quite in style as were gloves, kitten heels, sweater sets, pocket squares and brooches. But come in whatever era you want and whatever you have...we just want you there (that is why we invited you!!).
The Chillicothe public library allows the guests of the Postmark to park in their parking space. They are located at 140 S. Paint St. It is just down and across the street and less than a few minutes walk.
