What is the dress code?

Beach cocktail attire – think elevated summer style with a relaxed coastal vibe. Sundresses, cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, slacks with button-down shirts, or lightweight sport coats are perfect. Ties are optional. We recommend comfortable shoes for the outdoor setting.

Will the ceremony be outside?

Answer

Yes, weather permitting. We’ll say our vows outdoors overlooking beautiful Crystal Lake. If the weather turns stormy, we’ll move the celebration inside the tent :)

When should I arrive?

Please arrive by 5:00 PM so you have plenty of time to park, find your seat, and enjoy the view before the ceremony begins at 5:30 PM sharp.

The Yacht Club has a parking lot available for guests. We encourage carpooling!

We adore your children, but this will be an adult-only celebration. We hope you’ll use this as a chance to enjoy a night out just for yourselves!

Typically, August evenings are mild, with highs in the mid-70s and cooler breezes off the lake after sunset. A light sweater or wrap may be nice for later in the evening.

Yes! Following the ceremony, we’ll enjoy cocktails, dinner, and dancing together at the Yacht Club.
