We met when we were both 19 and sophomores in college. I was an introverted, straight-A student who loved art and animals. Yet, he was an extrovert, a very active and fantastic college golfer who liked going to parties and such. But we just clicked somehow. Just like magnets, positive and negative charges are attracted to each other. I am a very quiet person, but I would say I am also adventurous while he's very prudent. There is such a thing as balance. Sometimes we go beyond and above for love. Michael is very scared of heights, but he agreed to be on a Ferris wheel. (Still not Roller Coaster at Six Flags though haha) I love horror movies and now he doesn't mind watching them with me. On the other hand, he made me go to a lot of college parties because he likes being around other people, though being an introvert can be exhausting and frustrating sometimes, he was there to recharge me. He made me an ambivert. Moreover, he has loved golf ever since he was a kid and he made me like golf (sort of). I used to play golf when I was a teenager. When we started dating, he brought me a few times to the golf range especially when he was practicing for a tournament. I was always cheering him on quietly. Furthermore, he understood my love of animals. I have 1 adopted dog named Sora and she's my sweet 10-year-old schnauzer. Now, we have 5 dogs that we both adopted. Total of 6 dogs. There was a time we had 6 guinea pigs, and he was very supportive of them. We also lived apart when we started dating. He was originally from San Diego and moved to LA. I am from Ventura County. Despite that, he always drives down to see me whenever he gets a chance from his busy athletic schedule. On the contrary, I didn't get my driver's license until I met him. He motivated me to do a lot of things out of my comfort zone. I just know by that time; that he is the one. We recently had our 6th anniversary last 2/19/24 and he proposed to me in Hawaii. Soon, we will be tying the knot!
