Directions: If traveling from Paso Robles, travel north on Highway 101 to Exit 252: Lockwood-Jolon Fort Hunter Liggett and stay on road for 22 miles. Turn right at the Lockwood Store, travel for about 2 miles on Lockwood Jolon Rd and follow the hard curve to the left. Continue for 1 mile and take the second right (it's a dirt road) on to Martinez Rd. Follow the signs from there! If coming from Fort Hunter Liggett hotel, take Jolon Rd east for about 5 miles and turn left on Cross Rd. Follow for about 1 mile and turn right at the stop sign onto Lockwood Jolon. Continue for about 1 mile and turn left onto Martinez Rd (it's a dirt road) and follow the signs from there!

Tenalach Ranch

Tenalach Ranch is our property in Lockwood CA. We do not technically have an address yet because there is no house on site. You can navigate using our neighbor's address, 47515 Martinez Rd, Lockwood, CA. Once you get to Martinez Rd, there will be plenty of signage to get you to our ranch. Please note we are a working ranch with livestock, horses, chickens, and waterfowl. There can be squirrel holes, and sometimes dust, so please dress accordingly.

This hotel is located on the military base, Fort Hunter Liggett. It is the closest hotel and is located about 15 minutes from our ranch. The base does require two types of ID for anyone over the age of 18 and does perform a background check upon check-in. Once you arrive, you will receive a pass to come and go for the duration of your stay. It is a modest hotel with very reasonable rates and was recently renovated. Someone is available to answer calls 24/7.

Guests are welcome to camp on the property for the weekend. Water is available but no power or sewage. We are renting a few RVs to have on the property for the event so guests can use the restrooms. If you would like to stay in one at a discounted rate, let Kathleen know and we will reserve it for you. Get Away RV is a local company that can deliver, set up, and pick up an RV for your stay.

San Luis Obispo County Airport

SLO Airport is a small regional airport but it operates flights to major airports all over the west. The airport is about 1 hr 15 minute drive to our ranch.

San Jose International Airport

SJC generally has the most reasonable flights with a lot of options. This airport is about a 2.5 hour drive to our ranch.

Travel Note

City of Paso Robles, CA

Paso Robles is about 45 minutes from our ranch. Paso Robles offers over 300 wineries, distilleries, and breweries if you plan to make a longer stay of your visit. There are a variety of hotel options and specials can be found on the website.
