On a snowy Friday night in Big Bear, Kathleen and Johnnie arrived with their high school sophomore class for a weekend camping trip. They were randomly assigned to a group and met for the first time that night. While on a hike with the class, Johnnie threw a snowball at Kathleen. Despite his poor attempt at flirting, the two got to know each other that weekend. They admired each others' kindness, generosity, and sense of humor. Something gravitated them to each other and they have been inseparable ever since! Through the years Kathleen and Johnnie have had many adventures. From school, working at an ice cream shop together, traveling, moving out with friends and on their own, to adopting their first baby, a gray tabby cat named Taiyaki. Last year on their anniversary trip in Hawaii, Johnnie finally popped the question we've all been waiting for! We are so excited to celebrate this next chapter of our lives with you.
