We chose a Monday because it's a meaningful date and it allowed us to have the wedding we truly wanted while keeping things intimate and special. We completely understand if some guests can't make it, but we'd love to celebrate with those who can! We also hope that those coming from out of town will take some extra time to enjoy Colorado during the beautiful fall.
While we love your little ones, we kindly request no children at the welcome party or wedding ceremony & reception (expect family that's been invited).
Yes and no. Yes, transportation will be provided to and from the Lunch Rock via gondola and bus for the ceremony/reception. No other transportation will be provided, which is why we encourage you to stay in the village as you won't need additional transportation. If you decide to stay in the town of Winter Park or Fraser, you are responsible for your own transportation to and from the village.
For the Welcome Party: 'Colorado Casual' -- relaxed yet polished that blends rustic, cozy-chic that fits the mountain, outdoorsy vibe. Consider layers for crisp air while staying effortlessly stylish (jeans, sweaters, causal dresses, flannels, Chacos, Bierkenstocks :) For the Wedding: 'Mountain Chic' -- effortless sophistication with a touch of the outdoorsy, mountain flair. Less formal than traditional weddings since we are in the mountains (long dresses, jump/pantsuits, slacks, booties/boots, bolos). *Colorado weather is ever-changing. Once the sun goes down, temps drop especially at elevation. Make sure to check the weather and bring a jacket!
