Do I Need a Passport?

Answer

YES! Your passport must be good for 6 months after your return home date. We recommend getting your passport as soon as possible as it can take up to 3 months to come in.

Will My Kids Be Invited?

Our Wedding is Adults Only! We have chosen a Family Friendly Resort and would love to see any of our younger family and friends in Mexico, however our Welcome Party, Ceremony and Reception will be Adults Only Events!

What Should I Wear?

Answer

Cocktail Welcome Party: Think of what you would wear to a nice dinner at a tropical resort! Ceremony/Reception: Beach Formal Attire is Requested! Ladies can consider cocktail dresses, gowns, or sundresses. Men can consider tan or light colored lightweight suits. NO SHORTS PLEASE ◡̈ *The Ceremony will be on the beach, please consider this when choosing your shoes, a shoe check station will be available.

Do I Have to Book Through The Wedding Block?

Answer

In order to attend the wedding events and receive the room block rate, you must book through our dedicated room block. We have hired Ketti Menne, a trusted wedding planner to assist in all booking, and traveling needs of our guests. We suggest booking as soon as possible to lock in your preferred room type. The Deadline for deposits on your room is October 1st, 2023.

How Many Days Should I Book?

Our room block has a 3 night minimum, but you can stay as long as you'd like! The room block opens up May 6th and closes May 13th. Our goal is for our guests to not only enjoy our wedding with us but to also make the most of your trip to Mexico! Please consider looking into activities on the resort as well as local excursions during your trip!

Do I Need Pesos For Tipping?

Answer

While you absolutely can exchange USD for pesos, it is not necessary. You can tip your driver, room service, bartenders, and anyone else in US dollars! You can even book your excursions or go to the shopping center with US dollars or your credit card.

Why Did You Choose Hard Rock Riviera Maya?

Answer

We chose Hard Rock Riviera Maya because we believe it is a beautiful place to get married and share a wedding weekend with our closest loved ones! The resort has something for everyone: Tons of pools, restaurants and bars. It also has a Family Friendly side for our guests bringing their little ones down with them. The Family Side (Hacienda) has a waterpark, kiddie pool, and a kid's club. There is also a side for Adults Only (Heaven), which has exclusive pools, and restaurants for those 18+. Oh, and it's all-inclusive!
