♥ A graduation party at the Franz camp on Canada Lake. Edwin arrived with his two daughters Alice and Lillian. Kathleen was encouraged to attend, by her cousin Linda and son, Ryan. They were introduced on the boat house steps. After sharing poems, meditation apps, outdoor adventures and yoga practices, no one else could get a word in for several hours. Texting and calling led to a mountain bike adventure with a picnic lunch, a cherry pit spitting contest and a brew pub visit on the trail. Shortly after, on a "dinner date" in Syracuse, two hearts joined unexpectedly and bonded together for a lifetime.

♥ A canceled trip to Cape Cod found us at Willsboro Point on Lake Champlain, Kathleen's childhood summer cottage. We biked to her favorite swimming rock and enjoyed a picnic dessert then Edwin sang Herb Albert's "This guys in love". On one knee, Edwin popped the question. The love came naturally and organically. Kathleen: "We just can't believe that our life paths crossed at the right moment and we fell for each other." Edwin: "Love is in the air. There is no effort, it's just like breathing." We are very grateful for the love and support from our children, our families and our friends.

♥ Our vision for a backyard garden wedding came true the moment we arrived at Pruyn House. We were searching for a place with natural beauty to have a family style celebration, where everyone would feel at home. A place where we can share our love of food, music, and our love for each other. A heartfelt ceremony will take place in front of the garden. A buffet style BBQ will follow where we can eat, drink and be merry with our new family. We'll have some fun playing yard and board games. Homemade desserts and a 17 piece jazz orchestra will play as we dance the night away. A day of new unions, where two loving families gather as one.
