Tour of the Savannah Historic District

We highly recommend taking a guided tour of the Savannah Historic District. There are ghost tours, haunted pub crawls, architecture, historical, and sight-seeing tours available. This is a great way to explore the historic district. We recommend a walking tour as there is beauty and great intrigue down each and every street. Take a drink with you as it is one of the few cities in the US where it is perfectly legal to walk around with a drink in your hand.

Chippewa Square

“Life is like a box of chocolates...” You may recognize this historic square from the movie Forest Gump, as it was the setting in which the bench scene was filmed. It is likely the most famous square, but be sure to check out the others too! There are a total of 22, all with unique vibes.

Forsyth Park

Enjoy the Spanish moss laden trees, unique fountain, and vibrant personalities in Forsyth Park. This is a great place to take a walk or enjoy a picnic in the shade.

City Market

Shop, eat, drink, listen to music... Savannah City Market has it all! It is right in the heart of the city making it a great meet up point.

West Jones Street

Take a walk down Jones Street. The historic homes and old oak trees make this street the perfect place for a romantic walk.

Mercer Williams House Museum

Visit the house that was formerly home to Jim Williams of Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. Beware, it’s said to be haunted!

The Olde Pink House

This is one of the most known restaurants in Savannah, and for good reason. Great food in a historic setting. For sure worth visiting!

Explore the riverfront with a frozen daiquiri in hand from Wet Willie's!

Try one of the many tasty martinis from Lulu's. We recommend the espresso martini!

Daniel likes beer, Kathleen likes ghosts. This supposedly haunted brewery is the perfect place to combine two of their interests.

This is a great place for a romantic dinner date serving the best of regional “low-country” cuisine, or to enjoy a drink in their tavern room (the key-lime pie shot is a must try!).

Churchill's

Enjoy a great selection of beers, a delicious Bloody Mary, or cocktail of your choice, while snacking on some English pub favorites in either their downstairs tavern room or rooftop bar.

This is a great restaurant/bar to enjoy seafood, and other low-country favorites while sipping on a delicious cocktail at either their 2nd floor tiki bar, or third floor rooftop bar, located right in the heart of the historic district.
