While the wedding day ceremony and reception will be held in La Jolla, all other pre and post events will be held in the Pacific Beach and Mission Beach area. This is where we lived for 3 years and we can't wait for you to explore the area that we love so much!
House Or Rental

The Catamaran is located on Mission Bay, one block from the ocean. The Catamaran has everything you could possibly need from pools, a spa, a fitness center and water rentals. We will organize a shuttle from the Catamaran to transport guests to the wedding venue.

If you're looking for accommodations a bit more upscale, then Tower 23 is for you. This is a sophisticated and unique boutique hotel located right by the Pier in Pacific Beach.

This hotel should be renamed "Budget with a View" for its reasonable prices and amazing beach side location. The beach front terraces come with priceless sunsets and hours of people watching. Also, it has a beach front pool for those who aren't so keen on the ocean.
House Or Rental
Unless you've been living in a cave for the last 5 years... you probably know about Airbnb. But not all Airbnb's are created equal. Search Pacific Beach - the best location in our opinion and where we're staying. Looking for more action? Then Mission Beach is for you! Also adjoining is Mission Bay - a little quieter but close to the beach and the bay.

Rental Car
Sometimes it's just easier catching an Uber or Lyft. Still, San Diego is vast, so if you're looking to explore the outskirts it may be worth it to rent a car. Be aware - parking in the Pacific Beach/Mission Beach area can be challenging and may involve daily moves (and make sure your parallel parking game is top notch!). Best to check to see if your accommodation has an allocated spot. Once you're by the beach, everything you'll need will be a pleasant walking distance away, so cars can generally stay parked. Aussies - remember to drive on the right hand side!
