Our Story Kathleen and I first met back in college at Sonoma State University aka The Harvard of the West. Over the years, we remained friends keeping up with each other and staying in touch via social media. Fast forward to 2021, I was living in Arizona and Kathleen was living in Orange County. But one faithful day we both traveled to lovely Gilroy, California to attend the Hosley wedding at Kirigin Cellars. Yes, we are now members. In true SSU Greek life fashion, Megan and Nelson had a 3 hour cocktail party before dinner began. We both quickly found ourselves grabbing a glass of wine at the bar and catching up all night. We hung out the entire wedding and I think we both hoped this was the start of something special. Shortly after the wedding, we began a long distance relationship in separate time zones. Kathleen would come visit and we would hike Camelback. I would go visit Orange County and we would take on Disneyland. The long distance was tough at times, but worth every moment and experience we were able to share together. Our biggest passion besides wine, is seeing new places and traveling to new cities. Our first vacation together was the Big Apple! After a cancelled flight, snow, and many other little things that could derail any trip. We stuck together and had the time of our lives. NYC is easily our favorite city, but Seattle is a close second. I knew if we could make it through that, we had a bright future ahead. Now for a little more about us: ​We are both only children. I grew up in Nor Cal, Go Sharks. Kathleen grew up in So Cal, Go Ducks. On the weekends you can find us enjoying a glass of wine and cheering on our favorite sports teams. Speaking of wine, this past April I got both our families together and asked Kathleen to be my wife at DeLormier Winery in Alexander Valley. I cannot wait to marry her. She puts a smile on my face everyday & is my soul mate. Lastly, we love every one of you and can’t wait to share our special day together in a place that means so much to us.
