AYANA Resort Bali

Ayana Bali is an extremely large resort. There will be a resort shuttle that will drive you throughout the resort and to the wedding ceremony. The room block will be for the Rimba rooms. After the wedding, you are more than free to book a different room, villa or another hotel if you wish. Ayana resort is also where we will be having rehearsal dinner and welcome party! We are still working on room block, please check back for discount code Check in time: 3p Checkout time: 12p Guests are more than welcomed to arrival early or leave later for an extended vacation. Please arrive latest by Saturday afternoon if your personal schedules allow. If you wish to stay at an airbnb or a different resort, please let us know!

Airport Transfer to Ayana Bali

There will be an inclusive shuttle service from I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport to Ayana Resort. It will be an approximate 30-minute drive. Please message Anthony or Kathleen for your flight information by __ to plan accordingly. If you do not reach out to us in time, you will have to arrange your own transportation.

Getting Around

Grab or Gojek is Bali's Uber app to getting around the Island. For certain areas of the island, it may be difficult to get a taxi or any ride share. Booking a motorbike or car option is available on ride share. May require private round- trip transfers if you are doing an excursion. Please arrange accordingly. Feel free to rent a motorbike if you feel comfortable driving! You just get further and faster on a motorbike since most of Bali’s roads are too narrow for cars. If you plan on renting a motorbike, please get international driver's license. Safety first, please wear a helmet at all times.

If you forget, you can also apply at the airport however please be mindful as there will likely be a long line. Price per person is approximately IDR 500,000 (35USD, 935 TWD, 37 SGD) plus fees. Important Information!

-NY is 13 hours behind Bali. CA is 16hrs behind Bali. Taiwan, Singapore and Malaysia are the same time as Bali. Be aware of time zone difference when booking hotel and flights. - Currency is IDR. Highly suggest exchanging your currency at the airport. Avoid money exchangers on the island to avoid scams. - Outlets are 230V, Type C/F plugs; please bring adapters if you are traveling from US/Taiwan - Avoiding Bali Belly! Avoid tap water, or street food. Bottled water only. Good hygiene, avoiding risky raw items, and choosing busy, clean eateries are key to preventing stomach upsets. - No pre trip mandatory vaccinations necessary. Optional to get Hepatitis A/Typhoid/ TDAP vaccines for contaminated food/water exposure. - Whatsapp is the common form of communication with the locals and not iMessage. - Call your cellphone company to ensure internet/messaging service. Weather

July is one of the best times to visit Bali, as it falls in the middle of the dry season, offering consistently sunny days, lower humidity, and minimal rainfall. It is peak travel season, meaning the weather is ideal, but popular spots are very busy and prices are higher. Pack lightweight breathable clothing. Swim gear, light jacket or shawl if you are headed to the mountains. Daytime Highs: Average around 27°C to 31°C (80°F to 88°F). Nighttime Lows: Can drop to a comfortable 20°C to 24°C (68°F to 75°F), particularly in higher elevations like Ubud.
