It all started at James Madison University in October 2018. Andrew came to visit for the weekend from Virginia Military Institute, as he always did, since many of his high school friends went to JMU. Kat's roommate, Avery, was also in that same friend group and knew Andrew well. Somehow, our paths never crossed all those times he visited JMU, but on that fateful October day, it finally happened. Andrew introduced himself at the tailgate and Kat could finally put a face to a name that had been mentioned so many times before. They instantly hit it off, and the rest is history.

Fast forward 4 years later, and they went back to visit JMU during a weekend getaway trip in the mountains. Andrew took Kat to her favorite vineyard in Harrisonburg where they had one of their first dates. It was there at Crosskeys Vineyard where Andrew asked Kat to spend the rest of their lives together.....and of course Kat said yes! They spent the rest of the weekend celebrating with some of their closest friends. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with all of you. See you in Charleston!
