To make sure that all of our guests feel safe, we will follow local and CDC guidelines. We ask everyone joining us in-person to be vaccinated and test on Friday or Saturday. We're currently planning on making masks optional, but that may change in the final week leading up to the wedding. We will continue to update this page as the wedding approaches, and we also encourage you to reach out to us to discuss any concerns.
We have tried to include long-term partners and children on wedding correspondence, but we may have forgotten someone. Please give us a heads-up at kate.allen.wedding@gmail.com if you'd like to bring somebody we may not have anticipated.
We ask that you wear something that feels special and comfortable to you. Kathleen intends to wear a fancy white dress, but she refuses to wear heels, especially since there will be folk dancing. Allen will wear a suit and tie, but you don't have to if you don't want to.
In the interests of COVID safety, we're splitting our guests between two in-person events. This is the website for the Boston wedding and reception in April. If you've been invited to the California summer party, you should have received this link: www.zola.com/wedding/allenandkathleen2022. If you can't come to the April celebration but the California party might work out, shoot us an email at kate.allen.wedding@gmail.com and we'll see what we can do.
