Bank Street Beach, the public beach next to Wychmere Beach Club, is a lovely beach on the Nantucket Sound, with parking & restrooms. (possibly a bit chilly this early in the season!).

A popular Cape Cod activity is the Cape Cod Rail Trail (CCRT) following over 20 miles of an old railroad right of way, passing by charming towns, salt marshes, pine forests, cranberry bogs, beaches, and kettle ponds including Nickerson State Park in Brewster. Traveling through the towns of Yarmouth, Dennis, Harwich, Brewster, Orleans, Eastham and Wellfleet, its paved surface makes the path ideal for cyclists, walkers, inline skaters and runners. Bike rentals are available at various bike shops conveniently located directly on the trail in Yarmouth, Dennis, Brewster, Orleans and Wellfleet.
Cape Cod National Seashore is a U.S. National Park with forty miles of sandy beaches, marshes, ponds, lighthouses, wild cranberry bogs, and walking and biking trails. Salt Pond Visitor Center (50 Nauset Rd, Eastham, MA) is Cape Cod National Seashore's year-round visitor orientation facility with a theater, America's National Parks store, museum, and restrooms. The award-winning orientation movie, Standing Bold, plays throughout the day, and other films show on rotation. There are expansive views of the Salt Pond and Nauset Marsh from the lobby. Nearby is the popular 1.5 mile Nauset Marsh Trail.
The John F. Kennedy Hyannis Museum is located in Hyannis Port, which has a long history with the Kennedy Family.
At the very tip of Cape Cod, Provincetown is known for its thriving art and music scene, as well as its harbor and beaches.
East of Harwich Port is the upscale village of Chatham with charming boutique shops, galleries, and dining. Also walk from Chatham Main Street out to the Chatham Lighthouse.
The Ferry has daily service to Nantucket from Saquatucket Harbor in Harwich Port or Hyannis Port.
Monomoy National Wildlife Refuge off the elbow of Cape Cod, includes the barrier islands of North and South Monomoy, along with numerous islets and shoals. Monomoy Island Excursions has boat tours exploring the Refuge from Harwich Port Saquatucket Harbor daily.
