Win and Kathey met on a dating app - Match. They both were looking for something more long-term and both wanted to find their forever partner. Kathey was almost done with the dating app because she wasn’t meeting quality people. Win messaged her several times and she finally agreed to meet. Their first date was in Redding, CA on March 8, 2023, at Raw Restaurant.

God has, in many ways, blessed our separate lives. Win spent almost 22 years in the Navy, sometime in top secret, dangerous missions that could have taken his life at any time. Kathey has been through many life and health challenges that could have also taken her life at any time. But God knew what He was doing when He brought both of them to this point in time. It is through His blessing, grace and mercy that on May 3, 2025, two of His children will be united in marriage. To Him, we give all the glory.
