One of our first photos together - just two kids with a crush. I looked forward to the end of every soccer game when Jon would come straight over and hug me! - Kat

The first visit of summer 2022, distance sure does make the heart grow fonder which will be a theme in our relationship... - Kat

I loved seeing Kat in the stands at games and getting to see her after. - Jon

Sophomore year, we hosted Friendsgiving for our college friends at my place, and it was such a good time. That’s when we realized we really enjoyed hosting, and since then, we’ve thrown a bunch of other fun parties.- Jon

All dressed up for our sophomore year formal:) - Kat

My first trip with Kats family was to Colorado. I was nervous if I could keep up but it was perfect - the snow was amazing, we cooked delicious family dinners, and played lots of card games. - Jon

Summer of 2023 - I joined Jon's family for their annual trip to the Blue Ridge mountains. This place has become very special to us since then ;) - Kat

Our junior year, Jon and I both studied abroad in Austria but in opposite semesters. While it was hard to spend time apart, it was so worth it when we finally got to be together again! - Kat

After 35 hours of travel, I finally arrived in Gaming to Kat waiting for me at the bus stop. We were both so happy to see each other. It had been too long, but felt like nothing had changed. - Jon

And it all led up to this! A proposal in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Both of our reactions to the ring on Kat's finger for the first time, as you can tell we were both very very excited. - Jon

The proposal was absolutely perfect. We went on a hike and Jon proposed at the top in the clouds. He brought us a change of clothes and the clouds cleared up for us to celebrate and take photos! - Kat

A celebratory beer was necessary after keeping this secret from Kat all summer. - Jon

Our photographers were the most fun couple who were incredibly talented. We are so lucky to have them shooting our wedding too! - Jon

The surprises didn't stop there...pulling into the driving I said to Kat "I promise I will never lie to you again..." as she turned to see her family drove down to celebrate with us. - Jon

I bawled my eyes out when I got to hug my family and share this moment with them. Such a sweet surprise:) - Kat

Cheers to our engagement and Jon for the best proposal ever! - Kat
