If you have any other questions that are not listed here, please reach out to either Katherine or Will. We are happy to help!
Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

We can only accommodate those named on your invitation, and any plus ones will be noted there for you.

Question

Can my children come?

Answer

Our wedding weekend will be an adults-only celebration (excluding children in our wedding party). We do have a list of local babysitters - please reach out if you’d like to be connected!

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

You can find booking links and suggested hotels under the “Travel” tab. If you prefer to stay elsewhere, the French Quarter and surrounding areas offer a variety of hotels to suit every style and budget.

Question

What are some fun things to do in New Orleans?

Answer

We’ve shared a list of our favorite activities and restaurants on the “Things To Do” tab. From jazz clubs to coffee shops, there’s something for everyone! If you’re looking for personalized recommendations, please feel free to reach out to us directly.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Friday: For the Rehearsal Dinner and Welcome Party, please join us in your best colorful cocktail attire. Gentlemen, ties are optional. Saturday: Our wedding and reception will be black-tie attire. Ladies, we’d love for you to wear floor-length gowns in spring-inspired colors or prints (try to avoid black). Gentlemen, a tuxedo works perfectly. Sunday: For the Farewell Brunch, please wear whatever feels comfortable for traveling or exploring the city. Hats and sneakers are welcome.

Question

What color are the bridesmaids wearing?

Answer

Our bridesmaids will be wearing light pink.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 PM, and to ensure a seamless start, no guests will be admitted after that time. Please plan to arrive no earlier than 4:00 PM, as the venue will not be open before then. We kindly ask that you arrive between 4:00 and 4:15 PM to mingle and find your seat before the ceremony begins.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

We recommend using ride-share apps like Uber or Lyft for convenient travel from the French Quarter.

Question

Will there be transportation to the venue?

Answer

The Welcome Party is just a short walk from both the Hotel Monteleone and the Ritz-Carlton. We’re not providing group transportation to the ceremony, but the Lower Garden District is easily accessible by taxi or rideshare from the French Quarter. We will have shuttles at 11:00 PM to bring guests back to both the Hotel Monteleone and the Ritz-Carlton.

Question

Is the venue indoor or outdoor?

Answer

We’re embracing the beauty of New Orleans in the spring, so our wedding weekend will include a mix of indoor and outdoor settings. The Welcome Party will take place outdoors in the courtyard at Brennan’s Restaurant. Our ceremony will be held on the garden lawn at the Elms Mansion, followed by an indoor-outdoor cocktail hour and reception hosted in the courtyard and inside the mansion. The Farewell Brunch will be indoors at the Riverview Room at Hotel Monteleone. We recommend bringing a light layer and packing an umbrella.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are beyond grateful for your love and support! If you’d like to celebrate with us in this way, we’re registered at Kuhl-Linscomb in Houston and online.
