It was the Summer of 2015, he was a boy, she was a girl, could I make it anymore obvious? Anyway, after spending the first couple years of college involved with other people they weren't really looking for a partner. Katherine and Trenton spent the first four weeks of the summer hanging out in the same crowd. Mutual friends became close friends and they created a close group of friends that would become theirs forever. They spent their days flirting and smiling at each other from across camp, and spent their nights watching movies together, at late night pool parties and of course texting til the sun came up. After a couple more weeks of texting things like "crunchy or smooth" and "hot or iced" the two really became close. Nearing the end of the summer the two decided to go on a first date at Bulldogs in Wauconda(back when Kath ate burgers). They wanted to keep the fling going but weren't sure if it would work as they were going back to Bloomington and St. Louis. For one of their last weekends together they decided to go on a string of mega dates to places like Wrigley Field and Ravinia. They called this final hoorah, "KathTonPalooza". K and T decided after the fun filled weekend that the relationship was something special and worth trying long distance, even though it had only been a couple weeks of actually "dating".
