Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

There are a few hotels in the area, but rooms are filling up quickly as our weekend together overlaps with Miami University's new student orientations. For the best nightly rates and to continue celebrations with our families, we recommend joining our hotel block at Hueston Woods Lodge. Visit the Hotel Block page for more information.

Is there transportation provided to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

There will be a complimentary shuttle to take you to and from the Hueston Woods Lodge, ceremony and reception. Visit the Hotel & Shuttle page for more information, including timing of the shuttle service.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! At the reception venue, we plan on having a quiet room in case your little one, or anyone, needs some space from the noise of dinner or dancing.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We kindly ask that you complete the RSVP by May 15. Visit the RSVP page to submit or change your RSVP. Don't forget to confirm your hotel block reservation by April 1.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We are requesting summer semi-formal attire at our wedding. Dresses, dressy jumpsuits and jackets are welcome. Most importantly, be comfortable! Please note, you may need to walk through grass to find your seat.

What's the weather like in Ohio in June?

Answer

Temperatures reach an average high of mid-80s but can reach into the 90s. Average lows are around 60°. Please note, the ceremony is planned to be held outdoors. If there is possible inclement weather during the ceremony, it will be moved indoors at the Oxford Community Arts Center, the reception location.
