FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

You should do it as soon as possible; that would help us out the most. There's not really a set deadline.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Please dress a little bit nicer than if you were going to Sunday service. For guys: try and shoot for something like khakis or dress pants and a button up shirt, a tie and jacket if you feel like it. For ladies: Nice and modest dresses, a nice pantsuit, or just a nice top and pants. **The bride and groom will not be very happy if you arrive in a t-shirt and jeans or lounge clothes**

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Crotch Goblins are allowed

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

No

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

The ones listed under the travel section of the website are the best options in terms of quality and money. You're free not to stay at those if you want. **Word of advice: Do not stay at the Days Inn or Econolodge in Martin and Do not stay at the Hospitality House, Rosewood Inn, or County Hearth Inn in Union City**

Question

What kinds of food will be at the wedding?

Answer

We are going to have Bazinka Bakery "cater" our food. They are a local Ukranian family run bakery/deli that has good food and desserts. We are not 100% sure at the moment but there will be sandwiches and desserts for sure, maybe meet trays. We are likely going to have macaroons, miniature cheesecakes, and a honey cake. This will get updated later once all the information is set in stone.
