Ryan and I first met when I was 7 and he was 10. We lived in the same neighborhood in Mooresville for several years. As a little girl, I had a crush on him, always thinking he was so cute! But, nothing ever came of it. I moved away and we didn't keep in touch. 13 years later, I came across his instagram profile and thought, "man...he still hasn't changed! Still a cutie!" So, yes...technically I made the first move and messaged him. But, I'm not going to try and deny it because here we are! After a few messages back and forth we decided to meet up again after 13 years of not seeing one another! Both of us were so nervous going out that night, (I think he still thought I had a gap between my 2 front teeth lol) but I'm SO glad we did, because 7 months later, the easiest "Yes" came out of my mouth when he popped the question.
