We're getting married!!!

Our story began in late 2014 after a friend highly recommended us for each other. Neither of us was looking for love, but it happened at the right time. Nearly six months had passed before Katherine responded to Pierre’s message on Facebook. They both agreed to meet and have drinks at a local restaurant. The night went by fast, but they enjoyed each other's conversation. Their next date, Pierre invited Katherine over for dinner during a Dallas Cowboy and New York Giants game. Katherine had no idea Pierre was such a diehard Cowboys fan- she showed up in a hot pink New York Giants t-shirt!!!! Initially this wasn't a good start, but Pierre thought he could eventually make her a Dallas Cowboys fan. Pierre cooked beef tips and rice with cornbread while Katherine made herself right at home. Katherine showed how much she enjoyed his cooking by cleaning her plate and then falling asleep on his couch. And the rest is history! Currently, Pierre has started his own catering business, Man in the Apron. Instead of Katherine falling asleep after every meal, she has become quite the assistant or more like SouChef Ann (a name she gave herself). Nonetheless, Pierre gave up on trying making Katherine a Dallas Cowboy fan- so he loves her just the way she is!

New Orleans, La is our favorite city and the place of residence of our friends, Jodie and Jeremy. This year the couple would be celebrating their 5th wedding anniversary and wanted to invite all their friends to celebrate. Pierre and Katherine traveled from Shreveport to have a relaxing weekend and to celebrate their friends( so she thought). Upon arriving to the Spotted Kat, Pierre decided to make a quick stop at the Frenchman Art Gallery to kill some time. After browsing around the art gallery, Katherine begins to notice some familiar faces and awkward stares from random people- she FINALLY turned around to find Pierre on bend in knee.
