Patrick and Katherine met in high school when they happened to be in a math class together their sophomore year. Although they didn’t realize it then, later they would find that they had a very special connection. As highschool progressed, the two teens would randomly spot each other during passing periods. They never hestitated to greet one another with a smile. Finally, before their senior year, sparks flew. They made their relationship official one summer night after watching their favorite Christmas movie, Elf. That year they would attend all the highchool dances together, make a ton of memories, and just like that become highschool sweethearts.

On memorial day, Patrick proposed to Katherine on Mount San Antonio, one of tallest mountains in Southern California. They had just reached the summit when Patrick asked for her to reach for something in his backpack. As she gripped a small black box, he dropped down on one knee and asked her to marry him. On a scenic and breath taking mountain, they had taken their love to new heights. So, at an elevation of 10,064 feet, Katherine said yes to spending forever with the love of her life, Patrick.
