“We are getting Married”!!

I used to think every great love story began with an out of the ordinary meeting, like hitting it off with the person who just happens to be seated next to you on an airplane or meeting the love of your life, when you both reached for the same book at a bookstore. I wanted to have a meet-cute that just happened organically and but out in the wild. Although, I do have to say, our story is romantic to me. We met like everyone else is meeting during this time, two lonely people looking for someone special. You make a profile that goes online and if you are lucky enough, you get a hundred “Hi”s. It’s a wild and crazy world out here to be dating(LOL). The simple truth is he messaged me “Hi”, and I answered. After a couple of days of messaging back and forth, we decided to give each other the opportunity to meet. He was a gentlemen, I was a lady, and we just clicked. When you reach a certain age, you have certain expectations and have no time to waste. The truth is that we fell in love with each other because we said what we wanted, what we needed and what we were looking for, all on our second date. We both said we did not wanted to get married, but here we are. 😂 Our honesty, love for our family and friends, and our similar goals in life, made us realize that we don’t need to be looking for anyone else. We both found the one that completes us in the way that matters to us. So to say it again, our love story was quick and romantic, but very unexpected. It did not have a meet-cute beginning, but he did give me butterflies when he gave me sunflowers and opened the door for me.
