As the new school year began, young love budded. Nick and Katie's eyes first met across the table at an Athletes in Action Bible study their first-year at Yale.

After a couple months of Nick pursuing Katie, the love birds finally began dating on a frigid morning walk in the Connecticut snow.

Knowing Katie's love of horses, Nick planned a romantic, private trail ride in North Carolina. Once they reached a clearing on the mountain top with 180 degree views of the surrounding mountain range, Nick got down on one knee and asked for Katie's hand in marriage. Spoiler Alert: SHE SAID YES!
