We're so excited to celebrate with you!

We first met in the third grade and ran in different social circles throughout middle school and high school. While we both attended the University of Florida, it wasn't until after we graduated and moved into the same apartment complex in Melbourne that Matthew messaged me and asked to hang out. We kept hanging out for the next few days and quickly decided we wanted to be more than just friends.

Matthew asked if I wanted to go to a fancy dinner in Disney Springs and suggested we dress up. On the way there, he said his friends Connor and Mia were going to be there too and we should meet up to say hi. I didn't think much of it until he asked to take a picture in front of the waterfall where we took my favorite picture of us on December 31, 2018. I tried to put my arm around him for the photo, and Matthew said, "but first..." and he pulls out a pack of gum! I thought, why is he pulling out gum in the middle of a picture? He opens the wrapper and I see a ring. He dropped to one knee and asked me to marry him. We will be forever grateful to Mia and Connor for capturing the whole moment on camera and video.
