We're so excited to celebrate with you!

In true modern-day fashion, we met online in the summer of 2016. Katherine sent a message, and Marissa responded...two weeks later. We went on our first date to Sky Bar for sushi, which quickly turned into a several-hour long dinner. Soon after, we were smitten.

After months in quarantine, we decided a road trip to Colorado was in order. When we arrived in Estes Park, we wanted to check out the sights by going on a sunset hike. We were scrambling to find the trailhead before sunset, and Marissa was nervous about crossing paths with a bear. Katherine knew that Marissa did not suspect anything, and that the element of surprise was in her favor when she proposed at one of the scenic overlooks.

We knew we wanted to get married in Galveston where we've made our home. One of the things we love most about the island is the beautiful historic architecture so Moody Mansion seemed like the perfect choice. We can't wait to celebrate with our family and friends in October!
