FAQs

Question

Our Venues

Answer

Our ceremony is taking place at St Michael's Church, Highworth. Celebrations are to follow at The Highworth. For those not local, this is a short walk across the traffic lights.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The “I do’s” kick off at one o'clock in the afternoon - so we’d love everyone in their seats by twelve thirty. That gives you plenty of time to arrive, park, and soak in the excitement before we walk down the aisle! Running a little late? Don’t worry - just wait for a groomsman to help you slip in quietly so you don’t steal the spotlight from the couple. Though any later than quarter to one then we ask you to wait and meet us at the reception at two rather than disturbing the ceremony - we hope you understand.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We ask you dress to impress in Cocktail Attire. Think jackets or suits for the gents and bold, colourful dresses for the ladies to bring our celebration to life - we're only doing this once so go all out! More details and inspiration is available on the dress code page.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We’d love to celebrate with all our friends and family and those dear, but space is limited - so only the guests named on your invitation can attend.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, and know they will fill up the dancefloor, this will be an adults-only event. We hope this gives you a day to let your hair down.

Question

Registry / Gift Wishlist?

Answer

We’re so excited to celebrate our special day with the people we love most. Your presence at our wedding is all we could ask for, but if you would like to give a gift, a contribution towards our honeymoon would be truly appreciated. We’re very lucky to be spending our first adventure as a married couple travelling around Thailand over Christmas and New Year. Any contribution, big or small, will help us create unforgettable memories, and we’d love to share highlights from our trip with you when we return. For convenience, we’ve included a payment link below for anyone who wishes to contribute. Please amend the payment reference from our name to yours so we know who to thank for the kindness and generosity. https://bit.ly/kathandliam

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please let us know by 24 May 2026 — after that, we’ll take any silence as a “sorry, can’t make it” and we'll miss you on the dancefloor.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, there is an option within the RSVP to let us know of any allergies or dietary requirements. You are also welcome to let us know directly.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Please see the travel page for more detail.
