After some quick swooning, we built our friendship on secrets, sweets, and support. There is no one as empathetic or loving as our girl, and I'm so lucky to celebrate this chapter in her life.

I met Jose at orientation for a school club before actual school started. We talked about the gym and we immediately hit it off, I gave him some lifting chalk and he still has me as "chalk bro" in his contacts. I consider Jose one of my closest friends and someone I can always turn to for advice.

I've known Katherine for too many years to count. She's my rock and voice of logic when nothing makes sense. We bonded over books and math and travel plans. I am so grateful for her and Jose and Sophie and couldn't be happier to watch the start of their happily ever after.

Jose and I go way back to kindergarten at Broadway Elementary School. We've inspired each other to be the best at what we do and helped through difficult moments in our lives. We always have each other's back without judgement and can count on one another. I was blessed with only sisters but then life blessed me with a brother and best friend - Jose Sanchez. I am truly grateful to have him in my life as the brother I never had.

To think our first quarter class schedules would lead to a lifelong friendship. Katherine and I bonded over our walks to the university parking structure and a mutual love of ATLA. She is the kindest and most supportive person I know, to the point where she got me to actually like running! I’m so grateful and excited to be a part of this next step of Katherine’s and Jose’s journey together.

I don't know how our story began, but for as long as I can make memories I've been making them with Kat. Sometimes it felt like it was us against the world, and there is no one else I'd rather be back-to-back with than her. She is the best sister I could ever possibly have, and seeing her marry Jose makes me so happy and proud of them. I’ll always support her, as she always did for me, as we'll always do for each other.
