Answer

Please kindly respond by August 25th (at the latest), so we can make the necessary arrangements. Your prompt reply would be greatly appreciated

Question

Is there a dress code?Is there a dress code?

Answer

As our wedding will be held outdoors, we recommend dressing for the season and comfort. The event will take place in October, so please plan for cooler temperatures in the evening. For Women: Cocktail dresses, sundresses, or dressy separates are perfect. We recommend layering with for warmth as the evening may get chilly. For Men: A suit or dress slacks with a button-up shirt is great. A blazer or lightweight jacket is recommended for comfort as the evening cools. Please keep in mind the outdoor setting – shoes suitable for grass or uneven ground are a good choice.

Question

To ensure we can accommodate all of our guests, we are able to invite only those specifically listed on the invitation. If you’ve been extended an invitation for a plus-one, it will be noted on your invitation.

Question

Answer

To ensure an intimate atmosphere and a relaxing celebration for all our guests, we have decided to make our wedding an adult-only event, with the exception of close family. We hope you understand, and we appreciate your support in making our day special.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding? Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

We are so excited to share that our wedding will be a three-day celebration! While we would love to have you join us for all the festivities, please know that your presence is welcome for as much or as little of the weekend as you’d like. Feel free to join us for the events that work best with your schedule – we simply can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

Are all meals provided? Are all meals provided?

Answer

Not every meal. Take a look at the schedule. Meals included in the schedule are the only meals provided. So if you plan to arrive Friday for the rehearsal dinner, make plans for meals on your own Saturday morning and afternoon before the wedding ceremony. If you are staying at the Union Hotel with us, note that the kitchen at the hotel may or may not be available as our baker might be using it to prepare our cake. So pack easily prepped foods, or enjoy the local deli or saloon in La Porte.
