Things To Do
Portland is home to over 70 craft breweries, some of our favorites are Von Ebert, Backwoods, Breakside, Hopworks, and Deschutes.
There are many good wineries, head out west from Portland to the cities of Newberg, Dundee, or McMinnville and you will find a plethora of vineyards and wine.
You'd be hard pressed to leave Portland without visiting historic McMenamins locations. One of our favorites is Edgefield which has a winery, golf course, and movie theatre, all in one location.
Head east up the Gorge to visit one of our favorite cities, Hood River. This area is also called the Fruit Loop for its vast array of orchards. There are also spectacular hikes throughout the Gorge.
Sadly this year saw the passing of Darcelle XV, the world's oldest preforming Drag Queen. However her legacy lives on and the show goes on at Darcelle XV Showplace in Old Town PDX.
