Casual and laid back. Ladies, I'll need you to audition those shoes to make sure we can traverse the stone staircase, but after that... Let's be friends and family and eat food and have drinks and just enjoy each other's company!
We'll want to have a go at the Courtyard and the Staircase. Music factors heavily into our lives and into our ceremony, and we want to make sure we get it right. After putting our immediate family and closest friends through the paces, we invite the Bridal Party and their spouses, our parents and our siblings to join us for dinner and drinks locally in Freeport. We'll let you know where, when we know.
4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Smart casual - a step up from jeans and t-shirts, but no need for tuxedos. And ladies, heels will do, but rethink stilettos. Also, bring a sweater/jacket because... Maine in June
The Merry Meeting Rooms will be open at 3:30 p.m., and the Ceremony starts in the Courtyard at 4:00 p.m. Afterward, enjoy light bites and cocktails and one another's company while we take our formal portraits.
6:00 pm - 9:45 pm
Enjoy dinner, drinks and (bad) dancing with us and with one another in the temperate beauty of a New England afternoon, with yard games to keep the fun flowing! Appetizers and light bites, an open bar and buffet stations will be provided. We'll have music in the background, and we welcome you to dance and have fun - but don't expect our four left feet to perform a ceremonial "first dance." Should we wish to keep the party going after 10 p.m., Downtown Freeport is host to many options for restaurants and bars, as well as the patio space attached to the Inn.
