We're getting married!

Jaclyn & Katie hope to tell this story one day to their children about HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER! This story is really about how two people’s paths followed alongside one another and then finally crossed. It was as if all along there was some invisible string tying them together. You see...Jaclyn & Katie’s paths could have crossed several times in life before actually meeting. Katie went to the same school as Jaclyn’s best friend from Kindergarten; who then moved to Katie's school district. Jaclyn would support her friend by going to all the school plays every year where Katie volunteered her time as stage crew. Katie also happened to work at the Wawa around the corner from where Jaclyn babysat for years while in college and welllll we all know Jaclyn visited there frequently. Jaclyn & Katie also seemed to have moved to the same areas around the same time and yet their paths still did not cross. It wasn’t until Jaclyn was approached by one of her friends to play on a co-ed softball team that those paths would finally cross. After trying to deny the request several times to play softball, Jaclyn finally caved to play. After every game, Jaclyn would call up her dad and tell him about the latest bruise or how bad her team got crushed. Jaclyn wasn’t really sure why she kept going back each game. It could have been her stubborn nature, but it was almost as if something was telling her deep down to just stick with it. One night, there was a double header and in between games her friend was scrolling on Instagram. And if you happened to catch on from the wedding hashtag... that's when their paths cross, folks! Jaclyn noticed Katie’s picture right away. Jaclyn was determined to reach out after doing a bit of detective work on whether Katie was single. Being unsure, Jaclyn figured she’d shoot her shot anyway and mustered up some courage to send Katie a message. After a few hours, Katie sent a message back that she was…. SINGLE. After a few weeks of chatting back and forth they decided to meet up anddd well the rest is history. One could say they met on a softball field. One could say Jaclyn didn’t slide into home but slid right into Katie’s DMs. Either way you slice is that invisible string was now visible! So the moral of the story…shoot ya shot, kids! It could change every part of your life for the better!
