We are finally getting married!

We met in college. We had the same friend group. Eventually, we started dating, and we’ve been together since November 2016.

We went on a double date to the aquarium (one of my favorite places). It was a cold (32 degrees) and rainy night—with potential for snow. After the aquarium, we went to dinner at Yard House. He opened and closed the ring box loudly, and I thought he would ask me (finally after 4 years!) We continued through our dinner, and left. I thought maybe because of the weather he decided to ask me another time….but then he decided to have our friends take our picture, and I knew he was about to ask me. He got down on one knee (placing his knee on the cold wet ground), and he asked me to marry him.
