Things To Do

While we'll be celebrating together at the wedding, we hope you have some time to explore the magic of Prague. Here's a short list of places, all within a lovely walk (or quick Uber) of the stunning Vrtba Garden, where we'll be saying "I do."

Mala Strana

Malá Strana, Prague, Czech Republic

This is your neighbourhood! Get lost in its narrow, picturesque streets, discover hidden courtyards, and admire all the beautiful Baroque buildings. It feels VERY Prague.

Charles Bridge

Praha 1, Hlavní město Praha 110 00, Czech Republic

Just a short walk from the Vrtba Garden towards the river. Cross it early in the morning to see it without the crowds and watch the sun rise over the city.

Prague Castle

Prague 1, Prague 119 08, Czech Republic

You can see it towering above you from everywhere in the neighbourhood! It's a bit of a walk (or a quick Uber ), but the views from the castle grounds over our wedding garden and the city are simply unbeatable.

Cafe Savoy

5 Vítězná, Smíchov, Hlavní město Praha 150 00, Czech Republic

Start your day in true Prague style. This place is a classic! Housed in a beautiful Art Nouveau building, it's the perfect spot for a leisurely breakfast or a mid-morning coffee and one of their legendary cakes. It's elegant, delicious, and just a stone's throw away

Werichova villa

501 U Sovových mlýnů, Malá Strana, Hlavní město Praha 118 00, Czech Republic

Head down towards the Vltava River and discover the charming Kampa Island. A 10-15 minute scenic walk from the garden towards the river. The Werich House is a sweet little museum and café dedicated to a famous Czech actor, but the real gem is its terrace right on the water. It's the perfect spot for a quiet afternoon, watching the boats go by and soaking in the relaxed atmosphere.

Lokal Dlouhaaa

33 Dlouhá, Staré Město, Hlavní město Praha 110 00, Czech Republic

A short 5-minute Uber ride or a lovely 15-20 minute walk across the river into the Old Town. For a true taste of Czech hospitality, you have to visit Lokál. This bustling beer hall is famous for its fresh, unpasteurised Pilsner Urquell and its hearty, delicious Czech cuisine. Think roast pork, dumplings, and perfect goulash. It's lively, affordable, and an absolute must-do.
