We are getting married!

Drew and I met while we were both working at a local sporting goods store in Harrisonburg, Downtown Athletics, back in 2009. I was always excited to work with Drew, how could I not be? He was kind, funny, great at ping pong, and very good looking!! I think it is fair to say we clicked pretty quickly. Although, we both were attracted to each other, we were too shy to make any "real" moves. Drew finished his degree at JMU and I finished mine at VT and we both moved on to post college lives. Drew started working for Ryan Homes and I started on my Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Mary Baldwin University. Somehow, through all of those years Drew was always in the back of my mind (sometimes in the front of my mind). We would randomly keep in contact and occasionally meet up. In 2016 I had a very early flight to Colorado and was flying out of Dulles Airport. I decided to contact Drew to see if I could crash on his couch. Not only did he accept, but he was such a gentleman and took me out for dinner and drove me to the airport in the morning (he was concerned about me getting lost). After that day we never stopped talking. We started officially dating in October of 2016 when Drew took me to my first Lions game! In 2017 we both moved to Nashville to start our lives together in a brand new city and our love blossomed. Every year we take a summer trip together to somewhere new and this year was no different even with all the craziness of 2020. Little did I know, Drew had a little something extra up his sleeve for this trip! We decided on Colorado and the Rocky Mountains for 2020. On our last day, taking in the beauty of the Gore Mountain Range, Drew got down on one knee and proposed and the rest is history! The past 4 years have been the best of our lives! We are so so excited to be getting married and to be able to share this day with you all! Thank you for all your love, support, and friendship!
