When is the ceremony?

To Be Determined - we can only book an appointment with the judge two weeks out. We will update you accordingly when we figure this out. It would be between 8 AM - 5 PM. We will have a photographer at the ceremony at the courthouse to take pictures during and after of all of us if we are able to secure an appointment. If not, the photographer will be at dinner.

Yes, we booked a private room at Lonesome Dove in the Stockyards to celebrate with you all after the ceremony. This will be from 6 PM - 10 PM on Friday, October 30, 2026.

When should we arrive in Fort Worth?

Answer

With the ceremony time being in flux on Friday, it is up to you whether you arrive on Thursday on Friday. We would love to have you attend the ceremony at the Courthouse, but with the uncertainty on timing, we understand if this does not work with your schedule. Our intention is to explore the Stockyards with everyone on Saturday following the Friday dinner to spend time with our favorite people and thank you for making the trek to Texas for our special day. This is also optional if you wish to travel back home Saturday morning.

Where should I stay?

Answer

The ceremony (if we are able to secure an appointment with the Justice of the Peace) will be at the Tarrant County Courthouse. Dinner will be in the Stockyards. There are a few hotels that are convenient to both listed on the "Travel" tab.
