Just Married

We met as lifeguards eight years ago. The day we met, we stood together at the shore — an ocean's worth of stories and love waiting to be shared. It only seemed appropriate to formally tie our eternal bond in the same setting. Our ceremony took place on the shore of Hanalei Bay, Kauai. We stood among the broken shells, waves rolling in, washing out, under the quiet of the trees — perfect moments marking the start of the shared life ahead of us. We were joined in the presence of our parents and siblings but took a moment to acknowledge all who were there in spirit. We engaged with traditional Hawaiian practices, honoring this unique and sacred culture. We exchanged personal vows as the sun set behind us, casting golden light upon our union. We are thankful for all that we have been fortunate to share to this point, and we anxiously await all that is yet to come as we embark as husband and wife.
