What is the dress code?

Answer

Friday BBQ: Dressy casual attire: sundresses, linen, khakis. If it's fancier than jeans and a t-shirt, you're good to go! Keep in mind that the event will take place entirely outdoors and mostly on grass--so heels should be all-terrain and layers are recommended. The wedding: Garden cocktail (semi-formal) attire. Dresses, skirts, and jumpsuits as well as suits or shirt and tie are all appropriate. Feel free to have fun with color and pattern! Didn't you guys already get married?

Answer

Yes! we were married in November of 2023 in Gibraltar. But nobody was there! This will be our celebration to include all the people we love. And it will be Katherine's opportunity to wear a pretty dress.

Why Pennsylvania?

Answer

Katherine's parents moved to PA to be closer to her siblings in spring of 2024. They purchased a small historical farm with a lovely backyard that is perfect for parties and very reminiscent of the farm in Michigan that Katherine and her siblings grew up on. We thought it would be a great spot for a wedding--especially considering the fact that Pennsylvania is right between the midwest and England, where most of our guests will be travelling from.

What airport should I fly in to?

Answer

Philadelphia airport is the closest--approximately a one hour drive from the wedding venue. However, if you're willing to drive a little farther, Newark often has cheaper flights as well as more non-stop flights. It's closer to a two hour drive.
