Fun Flea market if you’re into thrifting and seeing eclectic collections! Open Friday and Saturday, 9-5! Make a stop in Holy by Design, Catholic goods for everybody, and Closet:ology, where Kate works half the week!
Absolutely beautiful church in Akron, worth a stop for some prayer time or just to appreciate the beauty of a sacred space. This church is one of our favorites for daily mass when Charlie is here, it helps that their weekday mass starts at 12:10pm, and not 8am, being in an earlier time zone can be rough!
The towpath trail is a local favorite, and a very interesting and mild hike! It takes you beside the Cuyahoga and Tuscarawas rivers, and is 101 miles long in its totality, but you can walk between trailheads for however taking you like! A very historic and beautiful walk or bike, it’s worth a trip if you’re looking to get in some fresh air and see some wildlife!
This is a favorite of our because they offer a local Latin Mass on Sundays at 1pm! If you enjoyed the wedding mass, be sure to pay St. Mary’s a visit too, the community there will be happy to see you and invite you for coffee (and sometimes donuts) in the parish hall afterwards!
Favorite post-mass breakfast place for us! The coffee is good, the food is even better, and the service is always wonderful!
